Renee Rudolph is a lifelong student, teacher, and founder of Sun Mountain Yoga Therapy. Renee teaches public classes and provides individual Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic Counseling locally in the Pikes Peak Region as well as online with a mission to bring integrated & individualized health care to rural communities and empower people to utilize the teachings and practices of yoga and ayurveda for their own physical, mental, and spiritual well being. Renee started her personal yoga practice in 2001 and formal training in 2016 in Colorado Springs. She is in her final year of an 800-hour yoga therapy certification training and the first year of a 3500-hour advance ayurvedic practitioner program. Renee is drawn to yoga and eastern medicine for their benefits in mental health & pain care. Additionally, Renee works full-time in fundraising for a non-profit providing mental health for our nation’s veterans and manages the business development for a Colorado-based yoga therapy training school. Renee’s background includes stewarding university donors, managing donor-supported student programs, and executing successful fundraising events. Renee served six years as the development co-chair and director on the board of Catamount Institute, connecting kids to the outdoors through education and adventure. Renee is a certified Wilderness First Responder and Reiki I/II practitioner. Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Renee and her partner now live near Guffey, CO and manage a small homestead. In her free time, Renee loves to cook, spend time outdoors hiking and paddle boarding, as well as make jewelry, and spend time with her four dogs, two barn cats, and flock of hens. ​

 

Kathryn Konicek, LCSW founded Evolve Therapy & Consulting, LLC, with passion and determination. Kathryn has been working in the field of mental health for over 10 years. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Tulane University in 2013, and her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Denver in 2016. Throughout her academic and professional careers, Kathryn has dedicated her time to the study of trauma and its impact on human brains and behavior. Her interest in neuroscience continues to impact her work, focusing not only on the behavioral and emotional changes, but also biological responses to trauma. Over the course of her career, Kathryn has worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, sexuality and intimacy issues, and those experiencing post-trauma symptoms. Kathryn is committed to empowering people to understand and heal themselves as they work to build the life they desire.

Karla Mans Giroux is a cancer thriver living with metastatic breast cancer and N.E.D. (no evidence of disease) since 2016. She was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 and underwent a mastectomy, chemo, and radiation. Eleven years later, in late 2014, she received the stage 4 diagnosis. This did not align with her goal of living to be 100+, so she decided to do all that she could to manage this challenge.      

Karla embarked on a holistic healing journey to help herself regain optimal health and longevity. She utilizes an integrative approach to health and loves to motivate and inspire others. Her passion has led her to share what she has learned so that everyone with a diagnosis can have a better chance of overcoming the odds.

Karla coaches groups and individuals on how implementing the 10 healing lifestyle factors of Radical Remission and Radical Hope can help overcome the odds. Over 1500 survivors have used these lifestyle changes to overcome their diagnosis!


Alexis Chavez, from Radiant Health Therapeutic Massage, is a Massage Therapist. She is a Colorado Native and has been blessed to live in the amazing state of Colorado for nearly her entire life. Alexis moved to Florissant in 2018 with her husband who grew up in the Florissant and Lake George area. Alexis has been practicing massage for ten years in a variety of settings including a Chiropractors office and the five-star Broadmoor Spa. She’s been doing mobile massage in the Teller County area for the past four years. Alexis has also been working at the client centered Studio West Aveda Salon in Woodland Park. She is thrilled to be opening her own business in Florissant, and continues to facilitate healing and relaxation in and around her beautiful community!

Alison Bigane is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) from Yoga Alliance, with a 200-hour teacher certification. In 2007 Alison discovered the power of yoga after wandering into a studio in her Chicago neighborhood of Roscoe Village, and was forever changed for the better. Since then, she’s been on a journey to deeper her yoga practice and connect with others while guiding them to feel present in their bodies through movement with breath. A former teacher, Alison enjoys leading and assisting others and endeavors to meet everyone where they are.

Alison has known Kate since way back when - 1986! We’ve grown and changed, married and mothered, worked and served others, and both endured cancer diagnoses and treatments along our way. Although we were both raised near Chicago, we found ourselves living in Denver, CO in 2001 for work (Kate) and as an AmeriCorps Volunteer (Alison). Our time spent there spurred a deep love and appreciation for the Rocky Mountains and all the beauty and adventure they offer. We are thrilled to be working together to offer a comprehensive recharging, relaxing, out-west experience to everyone
